Cognitive, social and emotional development
The Educational Psychology Service specialises in the cognitive, social and emotional development of children and young people 0-25. Educational Psychologists work with a wide range of professionals to improve outcomes for children and young people. Their approach is holistic. Children and young people are at the heart of what Educational Psychologists do.
Parent/Carer consent must be gained before an Educational Psychologist can work on behalf of, or with, a child or young person under the age of 16 years. Children and young people post 16 years may self-refer. (There may be cost implications for their school or college).
